Project Overview
Black Widow Australia was engaged by Hatch Construction to install 6.5 metre-long frameless glass panels on this architecturally designed coastal home in Vaucluse. The project required precision planning, crane-lift logistics, and careful integration with the building’s structural elements to maintain uninterrupted sightlines over the ocean.

Key Features
• Jumbo glass panels: 6500 mm × 2000 mm
• Installed via crane and spider suction system
• Site-specific bracing and access planning
• Internal-to-external alignment with ceiling and flooring
• Seamless corner junction for panoramic views


Challenges
• Difficult access on a narrow site
• Wind load considerations on exposed coastal location
• High-clearance lift with minimal margin for error


Outcome
